A webapp built for Nxt Ladder Up that lists their sporting events by area and lets a child, or a parent on their behalf, register for one in a few taps, and shows the charity who is coming.
No online listing existed. A family could only find out an event was happening by hearing about it, and registering meant a message or a conversation with the charity. Attendance depended on word of mouth reaching the right people in time.
Every event has a public page, listed by area. A family finds it, registers on a phone in a few taps, and the charity sees the attendance list and volunteer coverage for each event in one place.
Registration collects only what an event needs to run. Children's details are visible to the charity, never on a public page.
